How might our team begin to assist you? Consistent with Harvard Business Press authors, Peter Skarzynski and Rowan Gibson's summary of the three preconditions that set the stage for breakthroughs, let's start with::
1) Creating time and space in people's lives for reflection, ideation and experimentation.
2) Maximizing the diversity of thinking that innovation requires.
3) Fostering connection and conversation - the "combinational chemistry" that serves as a breeding ground for breakthrough ideas.
Often, the hardest part of being creative and innovative is slowing down long enough to experience these preconditions. People we work with, our customers, our family members - most people we know - are so busy in the hustle of daily life, it prevents us from doing what is important, but does not seem urgent yet .
If we are not addressing the problems we currently face and have not even begun to consider what is good and could be better, slowing down with those around us may be the best first step. All successful endeavors are human endeavors ... a good place to start is with each other ... and then ... let's talk about what comes next!
